Cryptoindex 100 (CIX100) was an ERC-20 token used within the Cryptoindex platform, an AI-driven cryptocurrency market index tracking the top 100 digital assets. The CIX100 token functioned as a payment method for accessing platform analytics, historical data, and reports, offering a 50% discount when used for transactions. It was also tradeable on exchanges and intended to be offered to an authorised investment fund managing crypto portfolios. The token was designed for utility purposes rather than as a security or financial instrument. Cryptoindex Limited, based in Malta, developed the token, integrating it with an index built using the Zorax neural network algorithm, which selected assets based on over 200 factors and rebalanced monthly. Despite its presence on NASDAQ, Bloomberg, and Reuters, CIX100 is now inactive, with no trading activity and the project's website no longer accessible, indicating the token’s discontinuation.
